I can't register through the Internet. How do I manually register DFX?

Choose a Manual Registration program for your version of DFX:

If you have DFX 6 or lower,

If you have DFX 8 or higher,

For DFX 7 and lower, install the program onto the machine that has DFX by double-clicking on the file. For DFX 8 and higher, go to the next step.
For DFX 7 and lower, run the manreg program by selecting Start > Programs > DFX Manreg > Manreg. For DFX 8 and higher, run the manreg program on the machine that has DFX by double-clicking on the downloaded file.

The program will print out your DFX Machine ID code. Note this code along with your DFX Serial Number.
Go to any Internet-connected computer and fill out the DFX Password Request Form:

Carefully enter your DFX Serial Number and the Machine ID code and click the "Issue Password" button. Your DFX Password will then be displayed. Note this password.
Go back to the Manreg program and enter your DFX Serial Number and the Password. Click the "OK" button and your registration will be completed.
Verify that you are registered by seeing that all features (ie, 3D, headphones, etc.) are usable.

Note for DFX 7 and lower: If you own a DFX Master Pack Serial Number, you might not be able to use the Manual Registration program. Please try disabling your firewall and registering before enabling your firewall again. If disabling your firewall is not an option, please send us an email with your Serial Number and mention "DFX Master Pack manual registration" in your message. Also mention which player version(s) you would like to register.

If Manual Registration doesn't seem to work, and the DFX pop-up screen continues to appear every time you start your player, please do the following:

Uninstall DFX by selecting My Computer > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > DFX for [player].
Edit your Registry to delete any DFX entries:
1. In Windows, select Start > Run > type "regedit" and hit OK
2. Under HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software, delete the "DFX" key
3. Under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software, delete the "DFX" key
Reinstall DFX and enter your serial number to register the software.
