I receive an error message, "Invalid" or "Illegal" Serial number.

First, make sure you entered your DFX Serial number correctly. A common error is typing a letter "O" instead of number "0". Also, make sure the number you are entering is a DFX Serial number. The Order number your receive after ordering is NOT your Serial number. Your Serial number comes in a separate email delivered after your order confirmation email.

Otherwise, if you entered your Serial number correctly, but received the error message, then the number you entered is invalid for the version of DFX you are using. Some common reasons are below:

If you own a previous version of DFX and have just ordered an Upgrade to the latest version, please wait for a NEW Serial number to arrive in one working day (excluding weekends and US holidays). Your old serial number may not work with newer versions.
If you are a new customer and have just ordered DFX, please wait for your Serial number to arrive in one working day (excluding weekends and US holidays). Entering any number other than your Serial number will not be valid. For more information about ordering and serials, please CLICK HERE.
If you own a previous version of DFX and downloaded the latest version without ordering an Upgrade, you will need to order the Upgrade for unlimited use of the latest version. CLICK HERE to order the DFX Master Pack Upgrade. Otherwise, to re-download your old version CLICK HERE.
