CURRENT ANSWERS:
- I purchased MP3 Remix Plus but don't have access to premium or
community remix presets
You need to download and install the MP3 Remix Plus version and register with your product
serial number. A serial number was sent to your email address after your order was processed
which included a download location to MP3 Remix Plus.
If you still have the MP3 Remix Free version installed, please uninstall it before installing
MP3 Remix Plus.
After installation, register to activate the full features. To register,
- Connect to the internet.
- Launch MP3 Remix.
- An MP3 Remix splash screen will appear. Click on the "Enter My Serial" button.
If the splash screen does not appear, then on the MP3 Remix control panel select Menu >
Register.
- Enter your serial number and email address.
- You will receive a confirmation message.
After registering you will have access to all the premium and community remix presets.
- MP3 Remix minimizes to the taskbar and is not displayed
This problem has been fixed in the latest version of MP3 Remix Player.
Please uninstall the previous version, then edit your registry as follows:
- Click Start > Run > type "regedit"
- Open HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > MP3 Remix > 115
- Delete "LASTUSED_DFXG" key
Then redownload and reinstall the latest version of MP3 Remix. (Any old download links are
automatically updated with the latest version, so please redownload).
Now when you launch MP3 Remix Player it should appear normally.
- Error message: Illegal Song File Loaded
This message can come up when you try to play an unrecognized song file, or the song file has
restrictions that prevent playback on MP3 Remix.
If you own a music file that is digital rights protected, the restrictions on that file may
limit what you can do with it, including the processing that can be done by an audio program
such as MP3 Remix.
So if you want to remix a song, be sure the song file is unrestricted. Contact the song vendor
to find out more about your song files' restrictions.
- Speed control does not change the speed of my song
Several factors can cause this problem: song file type, song file restrictions and system
limitations.
Speed control is currently limited to MP3 and WMA downloaded or streamed music files. To shift
the speed on WAV files or CD audio tracks, you should convert them to MP3 or WMA.
If your song file is digital rights protected, it may have restrictions that could prevent you
from not only shifting the speed, but from playing the song on MP3 Remix altogether.
Some computer systems may not have the sound processing capabilities to allow speed control.
The most likely problem is having an outdated sound card.
- Only the bottom portion of the MP3 Remix control panel is displayed
This problem usually indicates that you do not have Windows Media Player 9 or 10 installed.
Please install
Windows Media Player 9 or higher and then reinstall MP3 Remix to fix the problem.
